It’s National Drinking Water Week - join us for a behind-the-scenes tour with Suffolk County Water Authority. Back by popular demand, we’ll visit two different well head sites and learn how water is pumped, sampled, tested, treated, filtered, stored, monitored, remotely operated, and secured. Learn how what happens above ground impacts our water below ground, and the simple things YOU can do to help keep our water clean, plentiful, and tasting good for years to come.
