Botanical Art in the Herb Garden
Join herbalist Heather Cusack and local watercolor artist Melissa Hyatt and learn to capture natural beauty with watercolors. With sketchbook in hand, you’ll learn about the botanical parts of each plant and their uses, and sketch in the garden. Return to the barn to apply watercolor paints under Melissa’s guidance while enjoying herb tea prepared by Heather. Leave with new skills along with knowledge of planting and enjoying herbs from the garden.
Bring your sketchbook and drawing materials, watercolor supplies will be provided. Space is limited to 15, prepaid reservations required by May 5. Rain or shine.
