“We belong to the planet. If there’s no planet, there’s no us.”

This is the philosophy of Tony and Rosa Smith, Trust supporters since 2007 and monthly recurring donors. Tony and Rosa have spent their lives helping people improve themselves and supporting many environmental causes.

“Everything comes from the environment. If you kill the earth, you kill the source.”

Their conservation ethic goes back to childhood. Rosa was raised on a farm not far from Weston, Vermont. To this day she enjoys the fresh food she gets through her CSA share in Yonkers. Tony’s ties to the East End go back to his grandparents who had a home in Southampton Village. He spent his summers at his parent’s house in Quogue. And today, Tony and Rosa spend as much time as possible in a beautiful home, nestled in the woods of Hampton Bays.

The Smiths give to the Trust through our Monthly Giving program. “As long as I’m making it, I like to share it,” says Tony. Giving monthly makes that easy.

Thank you, Rosa and Tony, for all you do!
