My family has been vacationing and spending summers on the North Fork since the late 1940s, and I can’t remember a time when it wasn’t my favorite place. When Kim visited Long Island for the first time in 1992, I took her on a picnic in Orient, and she fell in love with the North Fork’s natural beauty.

As our daughters have grown up, we have continued my family’s tradition of spending vacations and summers on the North Fork, swimming, hiking, paddling, and enjoying the great food and drink available at the North Fork’s farms and wineries. We support the Peconic Land Trust with a monthly gift because the Trust protects and nurtures the place we love.
