Supporter and Volunteer

“I first fell in love with the East End over 20 years ago, when my wife and I came out for a weekend visit. We biked around Oysterponds, past farm fields and seacoast – an unbeatable combo. And all these years later, my second home still keeps its essential tone and natural beauty thanks to the work of the Trust.

“Having worked with members of the Trust staff and the Orient community over the years on several different land conservation projects, I can tell you firsthand how impressive their work is. The staff holds the hands of the landowners and works through controversial issues, making sure that everyone is satisfied with the end result.”

“Because of my positive experiences working with the Trust, I support them with gifts towards these specific projects and with my volunteer time. I enjoy working with the Trust’s staff and with my fellow members of this community to reach our conservation goals. Together, we can keep our communities beautiful. And, I also make sure to support the Trust’s general operating expenses, since I realize the importance of keeping the lights on.”
