Thomas Corcoran, far right, with Peconic Land Trust staff at the Andrew Sabin Nature Preserve.

Hello, my name is Thomas Corcoran and I am a GIS Technician/Stewardship Coordinator here at the Trust. I come to the Trust with a background in Computer Applications and Geographic Information Systems at the State University of New York at Cortland, from which I graduated in 2018. I spent some time at a land surveying company prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, but was unfortunately laid off due to the pandemic.

I am very passionate about field data collection and data-driven solutions. I hope to apply that passion to my work at the Trust! I’m looking forward to making maps for you to see!

Have questions about our maps or just want to give a warm welcome to Thomas? You can email him at TCorcoran@PeconicLandTrust.org.
