At the headwaters of Great Peconic Bay on New Suffolk Avenue and Deep Hole Creek in Mattituck, the owners of a 15 acre property are in the process of finalizing a 7-lot subdivision with the Town of Southold, but are willing to consider a conservation option.
The Trust is working with a group of neighbors, seeking support for a purchase of the property for conservation and permanent protection. We look forward to discussing this community conservation project with you on March 25th!
