Reflecting on a Successful Autumn Open House!
By Kathleen Kennedy
We hope you had a chance to stop in on October 24th to celebrate the season at our free, family friendly open house at Bridge Gardens!
It was wonderful to see so many friends - and to meet many new ones - enjoying the beauty of autumn at Bridge Gardens. Whether you explored the garden as part of the scavenger hunt, planted narcissus bulbs to bring home, painted a pumpkin for your porch, created a fun picture frame, or listened to the talented musicians of the Tewa Marimba Band from Bridgehampton School, there was something for everyone.
Expert presenters were part of the afternoon too: Jackson Dodds shared tips for a healthy landscape during a guided walk, and fermentation expert Justin Ruaysamran showed you how to make your own sauerkraut!
