Did you know that Bridge Gardens has an edible landscape? In today’s video, Garden Director Rick Bogusch discusses the fig trees at the garden.

Go Public Gardens! is this year’s slogan for National Public Gardens Week, a celebration of botanical gardens throughout the United States. Started in 2009 by the American Public Gardens Association, this annual event brings attention to the beauty and benefits of public garden spaces that offer respite, tranquility, education, entertainment, and the arts.

In recognition of Go Public Gardens Days!, Bridge Gardens will once again offer virtual guided walks with Garden Director Rick Bogusch, starting May 7 through May 16. Hear about his favorite plants, what’s new, and what’s tried and true. From the herb garden to native trees and shrubs, vegetables, roses, and more, be sure to visit our blog each day to see all that is growing at Bridge Gardens!
