Corporate Support

The East End’s farms, woodlands, beaches, and ponds are a big reason why so many people choose to visit, live, and work here. Your business can play a role in protecting these beautiful spaces, offering free educational activities, and maintaining these preserves for public access.

Some businesses volunteer as a team to help with work days, others sponsor a program or special event, and there are those that help to underwrite a specific conservation effort. The ones who really want to step it up do all three.

1% for the Planet

1% for the Planet was founded in 2002 with a mission to build and support an alliance of businesses committed to creating a healthy planet.

Business members commit to donating 1% of annual revenues to environmental groups listed on the 1% for the Planet website. Donations are made directly to the non-profit. Each year the business needs to certify its donations with 1% for the Planet to maintain its membership.
