Peconic Legacy Circle: A Gift for Future Generations

You can leave a legacy by remembering the Peconic Land Trust with a planned gift from your estate. Your bequest will ensure that Long Island’s beautiful beaches, clean water, working farms, rural heritage, and pristine woodlands and wetlands will be protected for generations to come.

Gifts of cash, stocks or bonds, land, tangible personal property, or any other assets are welcome and appreciated.

“I love the East End and wanted to leave a legacy for future generations that would nourish the essence of this place we call home. I chose to leave a gift to the Peconic Land Trust in my will. Please join me in looking towards the future – a future that values working farms, natural lands and the heritage we all share.”

Leave a Gift in Your Will

Simply share this sentence with your attorney or financial planner:

"I give, devise, and bequeath $___ or ___% of my estate to the Peconic Land Trust, Inc., a nonprofit charitable organization with its office in Southampton, New York."

Our goal is to know you, and your wishes, well enough so that we can accurately reflect your plans in the future. If your gift involves land or a specific purpose, this can be especially important. Your intensions are important to us, and we want to fully understand them to ensure that they can be fulfilled.
