Through Farms and Fields

Thank you to everyone who joined and supported Through Farms and Fields 2018 at Salt Air Farm

Through Farms and Fields celebrates the local bounty of the East End – from the amazing salad greens, vegetables, herbs and fruits from local farms, to the fresh fish from our shores and livestock raised on our fields, to the wonderful wines of our vineyards.

At this special country supper, we honored the farm families who launched the Suffolk County Farmland Preservation program, the first of its kind in the United States.

Each year, Through Farms and Fields brings together a diverse community in support of conservation efforts.  Here are a few photos from the evening … check back often as we will be updating with more photos and video from the evening.

Special thanks to our 2018 Committee: Carol Mulvihill Ahlers (Chair), Nancy Goell, Jane Iselin, John Erwin, Patty Orben, Michael Daly, Hatsy Dresher, Geoffrey Wells, Rand Stoll, Jenn Halsey Dupree, Dinni Gordon, Ann ffolliott, and Jeri Woodhouse

To our hosts, Prudence and Dan Heston of Salt Air Farm.

Through Farms and Fields would not be possible without the support of many, including our event sponsors.
