Fall is a great time for mushroom foraging, and you may find yourself lucky to discover Chicken of the Woods, Maitake, Black Trumpets and others on the trails of Stony Hill. Join artist and locavore Scott Bluedorn who will discuss common edibles, what to look for, and how to harvest and store for the kitchen. Bring a collection basket, cloth or paper bags, and a foraging knife.
