“To Belong to the World”
Bridge Gardens welcomes the Parrish Art Museum’s 2024 Road Show artist, Andrea Cote, to create a site-specific exhibition throughout the Gardens. Now in its thirteenth year, Parrish Road Show is the Museum’s off-site project designed to encourage engagement and interaction between artists and the communities beyond the Museum’s walls. “To Belong to the World” is an outdoor installation composed of uniquely printed fabric and bamboo structures that complement and highlight the Garden’s landscape. The work continues Cote’s exploration of her connection with the environment through daily exposed cyanotypes reflecting the sun, cosmos, and body.

- Opening Reception: September 14, 2 – 4 p.m.
- Autumn Equinox Demonstration: September 22, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- “Make Your Own Cyanotype” at Bridge Garden’s Autumn Open House: October 5, 12 – 3 p.m.
