You can enjoy fresh vegetables and salads right through the winter months. This workshop, led by Renato Stafford of Homegrown Organic Foods, fully explains how you can extend the growing season of your organic garden. Topics covered will include the importance of the soil (compost), cold hardy vegetables, zero energy greenhouse designs, harvesting practices, seed saving, and many time saving techniques. All attendees will leave with a head of garlic to plant and vegetable seeds saved just for you! This workshop will be held outdoors, please dress accordingly.
