Bring your own kayak for a guided paddle of the waters off Broad Cove, a pristine 100-acre woodland on Flanders Bay. This paddle tour will focus on the natural history and story of this property, one of the largest former duck farms from the early 1900s. Led by local birders Nancy Gilbert and Richard Wines, explore the western shoreline up through Terry’s Creek as well as the areas once inhabited by ducks. Conserved in 2021 by the Peconic Land Trust, this fragile Peconic Estuary ecosystem offers much to enjoy, including soon-to-be available woodland trails.

$20/person. Space is limited, reservations are required. Bring your own kayak or canoe, water bottle, and bag lunch for social hour following paddle. Please note: PFDs with water safety whistles are required to launch. Rain date is July 27.
