It’s Garlic Planting Time!
Did you know that our Quail Hill Farm grows thousands of heads of garlic every year? Did you know that planting can be very meditative? Come to the farm and help us get next year's garlic planted before cold weather sets in!
- Park on the north side of Town Lane, east of the Balsam farm stand, and meet Farm Manager Madison Aldrich.
- Dress for working in the soil, bring a water bottle, and wear layers.
- Gloves will be provided.
- Tasks include shucking cloves from the heads of garlic and planting individual cloves into the soil at the farm.
- Rain date: Saturday, November 5, 10:00 a.m.
