Late summer and early fall are excellent times to get up close and personal with a plethora of pollinators. Join Nancy Gilbert and Richard Wines for a walk at Winds Way Farm where a tapestry of native plantings interact with farm fields, woods, the shores of Peconic Bay and historic buildings. With special guests Daniel Gilrein, Entomologist and Jared Dyer, Assistant Entomologist, both with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County, you’ll learn about and view pollinators throughout this special place. End your visit with a toast to summer in their 1872 one room schoolhouse!
