From Lawn to Meadow
Learn steps to create a meadow in your landscape at this hands-on workshop, led by Brian Smith, formerly of LI Native Plant Initiative, and Garden Director Rick Bogusch. Brian will discuss the value of meadows, share information about native plants well suited to this environment, and lead a hands-on workshop as we turn a grassy area into a new meadow at Bridge Gardens. A selection of native plants will be available for purchase, provided by LI Native Plant Initiative, cash or personal checks only.
$5/person, free to Bridge Gardens members. Space is limited, reservations required. Heavy rain cancels.
