The hilly trails of the Trust’s Silver Beech Preserve and the trails behind the broad farmlands of the Deborah Ann Light Preserve offer you a chance to stretch your legs and get some exercise. This moderately strenuous 2-hour walk past farm fields and through rolling woods brings you to the beautiful beech forest of Stony Hill. Donated to the Trust in 2003 by the de Cuevas family, the almost 190-acre Silver Beech Preserve is part of an impressive assemblage of about 600 acres of woodlands and includes a portion of the Paumanok Path. Walk leader is Rick Whalen of the East Hampton Trails Preservation Society.

Free! Space is limited, reservations required, rain cancels.

We're celebrating the Peconic Land Trust's 40th anniversary in 2023! Themed "40 for 40," our Connections activities will bring you to 40 special places whose conservation has had an impact.
