This 100-acre preserve, conserved by the Trust in 2021, is bordered by the nationally recognized Peconic Estuary, an environmentally sensitive wetland corridor located between the North and South Forks. Unique to estuaries are the plants and animals that have adjusted to brackish water. Join us for a walk, led by naturalist John Turner, to view and learn about the plant and animal communities that make this woodland, meadow, and waterfront property their home. Bring your binoculars or birding scope.
$5/person suggested donation, space is limited, reservations required. Rain cancels.
We're celebrating the Peconic Land Trust's 40th anniversary in 2023! Themed "40 for 40," our Connections activities will bring you to 40 special places whose conservation has had an impact.
