Build-A-Bat-Box Workshop
Join us in the barn to build your own bat nesting box. Bats are voracious mosquito and insect eaters, consuming over 1,000 insects every hour! Help attract them to your landscape by building and installing a nesting box early in the season. This step-by-step workshop, led by carpenter Brian Kennedy, includes all materials needed to create your own bat box to take home.
$30.00/kit. Space is limited, prepaid reservations are required, rain or shine. Materials sponsored by Riverhead Building Supply.
