Join us for a guided birding walk with Tom Damiani of the North Fork Audubon Society. Bring your binoculars or birding scope to view late season migrating birds such as late warblers and thrushes, as well as cardinals, mockingbirds and a variety of waterbirds that stop at the large kettle hole at this 500-acre preserve. The Laurel Lake Preserve was created through the protection of over 18 parcels, assembled over the course of nearly 15 years with the Peconic land Trust working with numerous partners including property owners, Southold Town, Suffolk County, the Suffolk County Water Authority and the NY State Department of Environmental Conservation.
Free! Space is limited, reservations required. Rain cancels.
We're celebrating the Peconic Land Trust's 40th anniversary in 2023! Themed "40 for 40," our Connections activities will bring you to 40 special places whose conservation has had an impact.
