Beach Grass Planting
Extra hands are needed to plant beach grass to help stabilize the beach and dune at our waterfront preserve. Work in partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension and Peconic Estuary Program staff and volunteers to plant 2,000 - 3,000 plants. Many hands make light work! Tools and drinking water will be provided -- bring your work gloves and dress for the weather. Heavy rain will cancel.
