Join today for the winter season!

Quail Hill Farm offers both Summer and Winter Share options for families and, for those living alone, a single person share.

Summer Shares begin in early June through October, with picking days on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

  • Over two hundred “summer share” families come to the Farm twice a week—from June into November— to harvest from the fields that include over 500 varieties of vegetables, fruits and flowers planted each year.
  • Summer harvest days are Saturdays and Tuesdays, from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.
  • Orientation for new members is at 9:00 am on the following dates: SATURDAYS, JUNE 9 & 16, TUESDAYS, JUNE 12 & 19.
  • For all members, please click here for the Member Handbook.

Winter Shares begin in mid November through February.

  • Those who join for a “winter share” receive root vegetables, alliums, eggs, and our greenhouse greens, from the Friday before Thanksgiving into March.
  • Winter harvest days are every other week, Fridays 9 am to 5 pm and Saturdays 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

A central part of our mission at Quail Hill is to educate the public concerning such issues as soil health, our seed supply, food security, and sustainable, organic farming practices. Connecting people with land in this way builds a community that will appreciate and support the stability, integrity, and beauty of the bioregion.
