Winter is the perfect time to prune many kinds of trees and shrubs. This video, in partnership with the Horticultural Alliance of the Hamptons (HAH), features Bridge Garden’s Director Rick Bogusch sharing tips for pruning witch hazel, hydrangea, and other shrubs. Pruning at the right time of the year and with the correct technique will help ensure your shrubs will stay healthy, look attractive and bloom well throughout the season. Questions about pruning? Email Rick at RBogusch@PeconicLandTrust.org. Stay tuned for Rick’s next video coming mid-February, on starting seeds indoors.

Bridge Gardens is open every day from 10am - 4pm with free admission. Stop by and be inspired!
