Kathy Kennedy recently visited with Rick in early April and learned more about spring planting for beets and leaf lettuce (the varieties planted on this day were Merlot and Tango).

And then just before Easter, Yvette checked in with Rick and he talked about planting carrots! It was a really windy day, but the seeds went in the ground! A tip — once the seeds are planted, make sure you water every day until they germinate. And Rick added his favs are Hercules, Napoli, and Romance. Happy planting!
