Farms for the Future

On the East End, we are so fortunate to still have vistas that include beautiful, productive farmland. One to take note of this fall if you are visiting farms and vineyards on the North Fork is Oregon Road in Cutchogue.

For the past two decades the Trust has worked with landowners and the Town of Southold to conserve over 100 acres of farmland along the Oregon Road farm belt. Stretching from Mill Lane to Bridge Lane, farmland has been permanently protected. The Trust is honored to have offered guidance and support to the Town of Southold and many landowners to help protect these important resources. Learn more about the conservation along Oregon road here.
