Bridge Gardens

The Trust is grateful to The Bridgehampton Association for awarding us a $1000 grant to support the creation of the new StoryWalk® at Bridge Gardens! The StoryWalk® will feature laminated pages of a children’s book that are displayed along a trail as a self-guided walk that combines the joy of reading with the fun of exploring nature.

Our first book will feature local author Billy Baldwin’s adorable “The Last Leaf.” This charming story shares the challenge of a special oak leaf named Crinkle that overcomes defeat and rises above to become something very special indeed. Our StoryWalk® will include Spanish-language translation and be installed along the new, woodland trail, located just off our parking area. Stay tuned for our StoryWalk® launch, coming this Spring!

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
