In her Own Words...

The Trust’s reputation and mission captured my attention many years ago when I first became actively involved with Quail Hill Farm’s Community Supported Agriculture program. It was a fabulous experiment and experience for me, a city girl, to spend time on the farm.  I knew I wanted to contribute to the Trust community from that point on in a more meaningful way.

Today, I give back to the Trust by making a monthly recurring contribution, and giving my time as a volunteer.

My monthly gift comes from knowing that there is always more to do at the Peconic Land Trust than all the capable hearts, heads and minds can do in a day. As a volunteer I see a dedicated team creating on-going events, facilitating important dialogues and working to conserve our precious East End.

“To me, the Trust embodies the spirit of life on the East End, a community at work and play, committed to conserving our lands.”

I feel blessed to live here among the farms, the fields, the ocean and the sky.  The cherry on the cake is helping the place I love stay a beautiful, vibrant and flourishing community. Peconic Land Trust does great work here and I am proud to be affiliated with an organization that has accomplished so much for the East End.
