Celebrating Bridge Gardens Founders Jim Kilpatric and Harry Neyens!

On June 15, we were thrilled to celebrate the 2008 gift of Bridge Gardens to the Peconic Land Trust by garden founders Jim Kilpatric and Harry Neyens and marked the occasion with the dedication of a boulder and commemorative plaque. Without their forethought and generous gift, Bridge Gardens would not be the community resource it has become.

Over 75 garden members joined us in welcoming Harry back to the garden to hear him share the story of the garden’s creation as well as the vision for its future.

Looking ahead, with your support, the Garden House will be renovated and reimagined as an educational and welcome center.
