Careers

We seek to hire passionate, mission-minded people from a variety of backgrounds, who share our commitment to land conservation and expanding access and enjoyment of natural spaces to all. When you work at the Peconic Land Trust, you become part a caring team and a lasting conservation story to keep Long Island unique from locally grown food, healthy woodlands and meadows to our beautiful shorelines.

The Trust is an equal opportunity employer. We value a rich blend of perspectives and ideas that only a diverse and inclusive workforce can fully provide. The Trust encourages applications from all qualified individuals, especially those from under-represented groups.

The Trust is committed to providing reasonable accommodation to individuals with disabilities. If you are a qualified individual with a disability and need assistance applying, please call Erin Plitt (631) 283.3195 or email EPlitt@PeconicLandTrust.org. If you are selected for an interview, you will receive additional information regarding how to request an accommodation for the interview process.
