April 29, 2016: Peconic Land Trust Receives Grant from NYS DEC and Land Trust Alliance to Assist Riverhead Town with the Revitalization of its Farmland and Open Space Protection Programs.

April 14, 2016: Peconic Land Trust Receives Additional Restrictions on Protected Farmland from Russell C. McCall.

April 4, 2016: Peconic Land Trust Announces Sale of Enhanced Restrictions on Hayground Farms to the Town of Southamptopn.

February 2, 2016: Peconic Land Trust Receives Donation of .7 acres of Natural Lands from D'Urso Family in Amagansett.

December 2015: Great News: Conservation Easement Tax Incentive Finally Made Permanent! Also, Governor Cuomo signs enabling legislation to extend Community Preservation Fund to 2050. Public referendum possible in fall of 2016.

September 9, 2015: Peconic Land Trust and Town of Southold Partner on Protection of 20.9 Acres of Farmland, Woodlands and Wetlands in Orient. Community Fundraising Underway.

May 29, 2015: Peconic Land Trust Launches Agricultural Capital Equipment Program, funded through a grant from the LI Regional Economic Development Council.
