With the heat of summer upon us, many vegetables like radishes, leaf lettuce, spinach and peas fade away. But, it’s a good time to plant summer beets, beans, carrots and summer lettuce that germinate and thrive. Learning what to plant when will allow you to reap the rewards of fresh vegetables well into the autumn season. Garden Manager Rick Bogusch will also discuss organic controls for pests like cabbage loopers, flea beetles, slugs and more.
