Exploring Sebonac Creek with Mike Bottini
THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT. Please join us on a nature paddle along one of the East End's most scenic waterways! Osprey, red-tailed hawks, diamondback terrapins, plovers, terns, snowy and great egrets, and horseshoe crabs are just some of the wildlife species you may see. We’ll make several stops near Tern Island and Ram Island and learn from Mike, an experienced environmental educator and author of “Exploring East End Waters,” about the many species of flora and fauna making this part of Long Island their home. Bring binoculars, sunscreen, and water.
Space is limited, prepaid registration required. Rentals: single kayak $50, stand-up paddleboard $60, or double kayak or canoe $70. Bring your own kayak or canoe for $10 per person. Rain cancels.
